Rhodri Brady - PresidentIn this role I seek to lead the committee in their weekly meetings, working closely alongside the Vice-President. The committee meetings are where we evaluate how the past week has gone; think about what can be improved and make sure the week ahead (events, meetings etc.) is being taken care of. In all these things I am seeking to give us a Christ-centered focus. Isaiah 11:10, Romans 8:34. Email: president@abercu.co.uk |
Amy Graham - Vice PresidentMy role in the CU is to be working closely with the President and all the other committee members. In this we will be planning for the work of the CU and through all of this keeping a focus on Christ and doing everything for Him. Everyone is welcome at CU so just come along. Also don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions and I will get back to you as soon as I can. Hebrews 7:25 . Email: vicepresident@abercu.co.uk |

Ben Wigley - Evangelism SecretaryMy role in the CU as Evangelism sec is to encourage everyone to evangelise (strangely enough), firstly by motivating everyone in personal evangelism, and secondly by putting on events that encourage us to talk to friends about the good news! All this will be achieved with the help of the fantastic evangelsim committee. In order to reach every student on campus it'll need to be a team effort so new ideas of how we can do this are always welcome, please don't hesitate to get in touch :) John 17:20-26 (FYI My favourite type of role is a ham roll.). Malcolm Hughes - Mission SecretaryHello! My Role as Mission Secretary is to lead and head up two, separate, especially appointed weeks of Mission on Campus, the first in December and the second February or March as well as an International Mission during the summer. Working closely alongside the Evangelism Secretary (Ben Wigley) and the International Secretaries (Joey Kirkham and Stefan Berrow), my job is more specifically the action, practical side. Whereas the International Secretaries (among other things) aim to motivate and encourage international mission, my job is more active in dealing with the practicalities. I believe as a whole Committee as well as personally, we/I try to lead as servant leaders. What does that look like? Well it means we humble ourselves bellow others, serving them. It also means, we are not alone, but rather we are part of a team which consists of every CU member. So, if you’ve not been along, come and meet the whole team! Love & Peace. Micah 6:8.
